Victoria Island
Island on Amundsen Gulf in the Northwest Territory, Canada. Holman, an Inuit community, is located on the western side of Victoria Island. The Inuit promote traditional dress, dancing, and arts on Victoria Island. The island is part of the Northwest Passage, the Canadian Arctic waterway connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans that Sir John Franklin explored.

Vietnam
Country in southeast Asia with an area of 333,041 sq. km.; 1,650 km. long and 56 km. wide at its narrowest part. Vietnam’s population of 80,200,000 is 90% Vietnamese with Chinese, Thai, Khmer, and Chan minorities. Vietnam is a socialist republic with one legislative house; its chief of state is the president, and its head of government is the prime minister.
